Finally, a small program to help slot auditors and regulatory staff determine the actual expected hold % of a slot machine based on handle pulls and PAR sheet. The program uses standard deviation and Z-score, combined with volatility from the machine’s PAR sheet and total handle pulls (MTD, YTD, LTD, it’s up to you) from the machine’s statistics to determine what the anticipated hold % should be. Compare that to the actual hold (Coin in / Net Win) to calculate the variance and determine if investigation or repair is necessary. Don’t guess anymore, take advantage of this small utility.
